6 TOWNS REMEMBERS JOHN PEEL

25th October marked the eighth anniversary of the death of the legendary DJ and radio presenter, John Peel. He was renowned for championing new and exciting bands and introducing them to a wider audience.

This Saturday, 27th October, between 5-7pm, the Independent & Unsigned Show on 6 Towns Radio will be dedicated to his memory, playing session tracks by many of the bands he introduced to listeners over the years, including Joy Division, The Smiths, Skids, The Fall, Siouxsie & The Banshes and of course, The Undertones.
