How to wall mount British Gas smart meter (monitor/receiver)

The following video shows how I wall mounted my British Gas smart meter (monitor/receiver). This was using the supplied USB cables not battery’s for the power.

You can of cause mount it to the wall using battery’s to power the meter and not the original mains USB cable that I used, I don’t know how long the battery’s will last doing it that way. If you use battery’s in your monitor then please let me know how long they last.

The following list is what I needed for this job, depending how you install your meter there maybe different requirements.

Screwdriver (either flat or Philips depending on what screws you use)

2 small screws

2 small raw plugs

Drill and drill bits
