How to factory reset A Nokia E71

If you have a Nokia E71 mobile phone and you need to do a “factory reset” on the phone here is how.

Enter *#7780# This will restore factory settings, which resets all the settings to the default. At this point it may ask you for a code, if it does the default code is 12345

I have not tried this but if you need to reformat your phone you can use the following code *#7370# remember to backup your phone first. From what I read the phone will then reboot, you then switch off for 2 minutes and back on again and it should re set itself back up again. If anyone has the need to do this let me know if it works, I have not yet tried this one.
